Dear Friends and Readers,

Happy Re-release day! Over ten years ago I started the Anastasia Evolution Series. I discovered Andru and her world amongst the chatter inside my head, and it has always felt like a privilege to be a part of her intricate world, which gave me the opportunity to delve into my own fiery power. Her stories were magick. The act of writing empowerment.
Anastasia Weber is a woman with a secret living amongst the predators. Sounds relatable, doesn’t it? For Andru, the predators are vampires occupying the separated northeastern states of the US in a new country called, Genesis. And her secret? You’ll have to pick up the first installment to find out!

Updating and releasing the first book under the Speculation Publications umbrella feels like a full circle moment. My first book, ten years later, coming to life again through my publishing company. I’m excited.

The re-release of the second part of this tale, The Hollow, will follow later this year and then we’ll roll out the red carpet for book three of Anastasia’s ongoing revelations and trials.

To show a bit more love for our supporters, the Love and War ebook will be FREE! … until we can’t afford to give it away for free anymore, lol.

Along with Speculation Publications and LCW Allingham (cover art and design), I have updated the first two books in my series the Anastasia Evolution Series, originally published by Di Freeze at Freeze Time Media.
Book One, Love and War, will be relaunching this June 8th. With Book Two, The Hollow, close behind leading up to the release of Book Three (title to be released) in late Fall.

"Anastasia Drusilla “Andru” Weber is a captain for the Vampire governed free-state Army, and her life is complicated.

Spring is here, and there's no rest for the weary or the wicked. We at Spec Pub dropped TT Madden's LOADING...THE MACHINE CHILD in March, and now we're on the move again.
I started the Anastasia Evolution Series many moon's ago. Andru and her world were born to keep the chatter inside my head at bay and to channel the fiery power every woman holds deep inside. The stories were magick. The act of writing, empowerment. I'd written five books before I had the first one published, splitting the story in two parts because, well, I had a lot to say.
Ten years later, Speculation Publications is going re-release the first two books in lead up to the long awaited third installment. So check back on May Day (May 1st) for the brand new cover reveal! And we have more secrets in store, so prepare your altar (or your bookshelf) for blood, sex, magic, faeries and vampires.

Inside is a VHS tape that seems to call to something within her, and opens up a door to the 40 year old mystery of Polybius. The urban legend claims that an arcade cabinet allegedly caused madness and hallucinations in its players while it was installed over a single month in Portland in 1981. The package indicates that there may be even more to the story.
Something about it compels Abby on a journey across the country to discover the truth about the mysterious cabinet, the men in black watching over it, and to finish the story started in 1981." 🔥

Dear Readers,

The Utter Speculation series speculates about what is behind real mysteries and legends. The stories can be based on facts or complete fiction. They can be rooted in real world explanations or supernatural causes, but they need to answer the question, "what causes this?"

I've always loved urban legends, and I've always loved video games (I may have another unannounced video game-related book coming out in 2026…) so Polybius made perfect sense, and I started thinking about how I could explain the truth behind an arcade cabinet showing up for a month in Portland in 1981 and somehow driving people insane.

But there is a point where once the mystery is solved, it isn't so special anymore.
Which is where I think this book kind of cheats. Yes, by the end you'll figure out who was behind the creation of this arcade cabinet and why, but my hope is that you'll close the book still intrigued, still wondering, that what you read will spawn questions of your own.

Now, obviously I won't give away the whole game here, but there were a few things I deliberately attempted to do with this story. Some were practical, like writing a story with less overt horror and gore so that my family members could actually read my writing. Like eliminating much of what I termed "stage direction" that was in my previous books; there always being something happening right in front of the readers' eyes as if it were a screen, and to have more happen internally. Writing in first person. Ways to challenge myself as a writer.

But on another level, I wanted to write a story that said something without saying it, something that followed emotional logic over literal logic (though, don't worry, it's not as overtly Surrealist as some of my other work). Something that was about art and people's reactions to it.

So I hope LOADING…THE MACHINE CHILD affects you, stays with you the way a great game can.

Holy moly, I'm so far behind! Our third winter lore book Aurora: Tales of Winter Dreams was released on November 4th, and I still haven't written about it!
