   Dan Kinter and I met in a writing group. I remember thinking, this guy loves to talk, and I was happy he decided to talk to me. A couple years later we contributed to an Amazon opening day best-selling anthology, The Lost Colony of Roanoke: A Collection of Utter Speculation. Dan also released his first novel the same year, The Bridges. 
   Before his untimely passing, I considered Dan a good friend, but also a colleague I depended on for his keen eyes, ears and understanding of writing and its nuances.   
   I miss Dan, a lot. I hope he remembers me during his travels and does his best to help me edit :)
