I have a problem. I procrastinate writing on the blog assuming everything I type here has to be profoundly meaningful. I've read other blogs that seem to be that way, but I just don't think I have enough "profoundly meaningful" in me to make each and every blog post poignant.
So today, I decided to post a video, but that isn't working out. So I decided to post a picture of where I was yesterday. I was becoming overwhelmed with work and needed to get some fresh air. I went on a small hike, and this is where I ended up. It was quiet. It smelled of wet leaves, damp trees, elderberry and cold water. It was just what I needed, but it didn't last. I think I need a week there.
So until someone asks me a question about the books, or anything really, or I have something profound to talk about I'll try to post things that are relevant and pretty, to let you know I'm still here, writing and breathing.
This picture is relevant, because I think, everyone needs nature in their lives. It's fundamental. It recharges your creative and patience batteries like nothing else can. And it's pretty.
